The Surgical Interest Group aims to introduce medical students to different surgical specialties. Through the events put on by the Surgical Interest Group, students from all classes will have the opportunity to connect with surgical residents and staff, learn basic procedural skills, and attend regularly hosted presentations about careers in surgery, how to gain surgical experience as a medical student, and many more topics.
