Welcome to the urology club! If you are interested in urology, sexual medicine, reconstruction, endocrinology, renal medicine or oncology, this club is for you! The University of Calgary does not have a urology residency training program so this club has been created to attempt to bridge some of the gap, and offer interested students exposure to the field of urology and to hands on learning from urologists in Calgary. This field combines surgery and medicine and as many urologic conditions are common, this group may also interest students planning to practice family medicine, internal medicine, radiology, pathology, or other specialties. Urology is an innovative field in terms of surgical equipment and procedures and students will gain a better understanding of this dynamic and rapidly evolving field as well as find a peer group to connect with about creating self-directed learning opportunities and attending conferences or other learning events.
