The IMIG is designed to provide students with a greater exposure and understanding to the different subspecialties within Internal Medicine. This club will function to provide first-hand information to those medical students who are interested in exploring Internal Medicine as a possible career path. Physicians from most IM sub-specialties will come to organized group sessions and talk to the students about their specific fields; their life- styles; their journeys so far etc. The aim of these sessions will be for the students to get frank impressions about each IM sub-specialty, and also to know a little bit about the IM programs being offered in different schools across Canada.
