Choosing Wisely Canada is the national voice for reducing unnecessary tests and treatments in healthcare. It works with clinicians to identify and develop recommendations on frequently overused tests and treatments that do not add value to patient care (and may potentially expose patients to harm). This student group is dedicated to promoting Choosing Wisely recommendations and resource stewardship principles amongst University of Calgary medical students in an effort to provide high-value care as future physicians.
